Coach Bowles is entering his 19th season overall (2003–2008, 2013–present) as a Varsity Assistant Coach for the East Coweta Indians, where his mission goes far beyond wins and losses. He is deeply committed to developing young men of strong character, integrity, and resilience—using baseball as a platform to teach life lessons that last long after the final out. His coaching philosophy is built on accountability, service, faith, and leadership, helping players grow not only as athletes, but as students, teammates, and future leaders.

Throughout his career, Coach Bowles has impacted countless players by emphasizing discipline, mental toughness, and a team-first mindset. He previously served four years (2008–2012) as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach and Head Varsity Softball Coach at Hiram High School and has also coached at the collegiate level as a volunteer assistant at LaGrange College. At East Coweta, he oversees the pitching and catching programs and serves as the Assistant Varsity Softball Coach, playing a key role in shaping the culture of excellence within both programs.

Coach Bowles holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work/Psychology from LaGrange College, a Special Education certification from Georgia State University, and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Columbus State University. In recognition of his dedication to students both on and off the field, he was named the 2025/2026 East Coweta High School Teacher of the Year. A former four-year letterman, team captain, and conference champion at LaGrange College, he understands firsthand the power of sports to mold character and purpose.

His impact has been recognized through numerous Region and State Assistant Coach of the Year honors in both baseball and softball, including awards from the Georgia Dugout Club and the GACA. However, Coach Bowles considers his greatest accomplishment to be the relationships he builds and the lives he influences.

Coach Bowles is married to the former Amanda Ray, East Coweta’s 2020 Teacher of the Year. They have been married for 21 years and are the proud parents of five children: daughter Josie Paige, sons Easton, Jax, and Hawk, and daughter Irelyn (“Izzy”). The Bowles family resides in Senoia, Georgia, and attends Crossroads Church.
